Where is the school located?
The school sits on a 5-acre campus at Jakkur in North Bengaluru, close to Thanisandra Main Road. Its building is designed around open, spacious learning areas and follows the BALA (Building as a Learning Aid) concept, where the architecture itself supports children’s learning.

For parents and visitors:

The school office is open from 8:30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. On Saturday it is open from 8:30pm to 2pm.


For TSUS students:

The timings of Pre-primary is 8:30am-12:30pm

The timings of Grades 1-10 is 8:30am to 3:15pm

The School follows a CBSE curriculum supported by The Shri Curriculum which is aligned with NEP. The school has its own workbooks from The Shri Curriculum.

The Shri Ram Universal School has a strict uniform policy. Sports uniforms are worn twice a week whereas the regular formal school uniform is worn thrice a week. The school has black shoes that must be worn on all days. The children must wear ID cards every day to school.

Boys: Hair must be short, neatly cut and combed every day. It should not touch the collar or cover the eyes and ears. Fashionable haircuts, spikes, gel, colouring and streaks are not permitted.

Girls: Hair that is shoulder-length or longer must be neatly braided, either in one or two plaits. Shorter hair should be neatly combed and held back with clips or a hairband so it doesn’t fall on the face. Only [black / navy / school-colour] hairbands, clips and ribbons may be used. Hair colouring, streaks and fancy hair accessories are not permitted.

Religious practices: Students who keep their hair uncut or cover their head for religious reasons, such as a patka or turban, may do so. Head coverings should be neat and in [black / navy / white / a colour matching the uniform].

Students are expected to come to school every day with clean, trimmed nails and a neat, tidy appearance.

Yes, transportation facility is provided at the school at an additional cost. Parents may choose the transportation facility by checking the bus routes and timings. The timings may change from one academic year to the next, hence parents are requested to check with the admissions office for their route pick up and drop timings along with the fees.

The school performs regular deep cleaning of the infrastructure and buses. Daily cleaning takes place by our strong housekeeping team which ensures the campus, toilets, labs and common spaces are kept tidy. In case of an unprecedented outbreak or infection, the school will inform the parents and ensure the child is picked up from school at the earliest.

The school infirmary is equipped with all the first aid equipment and a trained nurse to take care of any immediate injuries or health concerns. The parents are also requested to let the school know of medical allergies and conditions before enrolling the child.

The School ensures all safety parameters are abided as per CBSE norms, including ramps for access and a lift for access to higher floors. There is a 24×7 surveillance of the campus along with security personnel.

The security team at TSUS Bengaluru are well trained individuals keeping in mind protocols of the school entry and exit. Norms and rules placed must be adhered to ensure the security can perform its duties with utmost sincerity. Patrolling the campus is an essential part of their job and entry to the school without prior appointment is restricted. For daily pickup, parents are requested to bring their ID cards for identification.
The school has several co-curricular activities such as performing and visual arts, sports and several community driven activities. These are an integral part of the overall growth of the child at TSUS Bengaluru. Sports such as football, basketball, pickleball and cricket are key in building team spirit and learning to work in teams. Additionally, students also learn taekwondo and skating. The students build confidence, learn about teamwork and gain a sense of responsibility.
