Our signature practices that shape holistic learning

We focus not just on what children learn, but how they learn. Our classrooms are built on exploration, expression, and joyful engagement in order to shape curious, confident, lifelong learners.

Here are some of the signature Shri practices woven into everyday learning:

Choice Time Activities

Children explore different activity corners such as books, blocks, drawing, modelling dough, or the discovery room, thus choosing what excites them.

Circle Time

A nurturing space where children share, reflect, and connect with their teacher. It encourages emotional expression and gently reinforces Shri core values.

Wonder Time

Hands-on materials help children observe, explore, record, and draw conclusions — strengthening curiosity, thinking, and early scientific inquiry.

Show ’n’ Tell

A safe, encouraging platform for young learners to speak, present, and express themselves — building confidence from the early years onward.

DEAR (Drop Everything and Read)

A dedicated reading ritual where children pause to read for pleasure. It builds focus, imagination, and a lifelong love for books.

BaLA (Building as Learning Aid)

Our campus itself becomes a learning tool with child-friendly architectural elements that promote activity-based learning, inclusivity, and creativity indoors and outdoors.  Through child-friendly architectural elements both indoors and outdoors, BaLA turns walls, floors, corridors, and open spaces into hands-on learning tools.

It encourages activity-based learning, creativity, inclusivity, and exploration for every child, including those with special needs.

Writer’s Workshop

A personalised programme where children write creatively, draft, and refine their ideas. It nurtures authentic expression beyond worksheets and templates.

Reading Programme

A structured, graded reading pathway from LKG to Grade V that helps children become confident, expressive, and thoughtful readers.
